  • Red Clover Supplements HighClinical

For those experiencing symptoms of low estrogen, Red Clover extracts act as a source of natural phytoestrogens, which can help to gently balance the body's hormonal environment and provide relief.

  • Integral Yoga Practices LowClinical

Integral Yoga can offer modest benefits for symptoms associated with hypoestrogenia, particularly in perimenopause and menopause, by reducing hot flashes, improving sleep quality, and alleviating mood swings and anxiety through its stress-reducing effects.

  • Vitamin E Supplements LowClinical

For women experiencing low estrogen symptoms like hot flashes, Vitamin E may offer some relief by influencing vascular responses and reducing oxidative stress.

  • DHEA Supplements HighTheoretical

DHEA can be converted into estrogens in the body, making it potentially beneficial for managing symptoms of low estrogen, such as those experienced during menopause, including hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and mood swings.

  • Naturopathy Practices HighTheoretical

Naturopathic interventions for hypoestrogenia, common in menopause, utilize phytoestrogens (e.g., soy isoflavones, red clover, black cohosh) to mimic estrogenic effects. These botanical compounds show strong evidence in alleviating hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and other menopausal symptoms by binding to estrogen receptors, providing significant symptomatic relief.

  • Quitting: Not eating enough Habits HighTheoretical

In women, prolonged inadequate eating, particularly when leading to low body fat, can disrupt hormonal balance by suppressing estrogen production. This often results in menstrual irregularities and other symptoms of hypoestrogenia.

What to avoid (1)

  • Anastrozole Supplements Very highTheoretical

Avoid anastrozole if you already have low estrogen levels, as this medication is designed to further reduce estrogen and could lead to severe health issues like bone loss or menstrual irregularities.
